Student Counseling Center

  • All Students are invited to seek support through free, confidential services at the Student Counseling Center by submitting a request for counseling center services online.
  • Students can also seek informal drop-in consultation appointments through Let’s Talk.
  • Students can access free virtual counseling and psychiatric services through TimelyCare .
  • After-hours crisis services are available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week through 972-UTD-TALK (972-883-8255).

UTD Dean of Students Office

  • Resource for students who are navigating personal, academic or health concerns and can connect students to campus and community resources. The DOS Office can support students seeking temporary accommodations, students wishing to discuss concerns related to discrimination or harassment, students needing academic flexibility while navigating a crisis or emergency, and students seeking to apply for emergency financial support.

UTD Attorney Services

  • Provides consultation and legal advice to currently enrolled students.
  • Attorney services are free of charge, funded by student service fees and sponsored by Student Government.

Reporting Threats and Harassment

It is critical that students feel safe at UT Dallas and the UTD community will not tolerate abusive behavior. Resources for students to consider if you have experienced threats or harassment:

  • If experiencing threats of physical harm/death or if you believe you are imminently in danger or need help, dial 911
  • For on-campus non-emergencies, call the UT Dallas Police at 972-883-2222.
  • To make an anonymous tip regarding a crime, report anonymously to the UTD Police Department.
